Edith Kramer, is one of the Mothers of Art Therapy. She formulated art as therapy, the use of the "Third hand" and Sublimation. Her writing, such as Art as therapy with children, continues to be personally inspiring for me. Not only was she a brilliant founding art therapist, but an amazing dedicated artist! In order to pursue her personal art work, Kramer chose to work as an art therapist only part time.
